What Forestry Mulching Is

A high-powered mulching head on a purpose-built track machine grinds standing brush, saplings, and small trees (up to about 6–8 inches) into a layer of mulch, right where they stand.

  • No burn piles, no hauling. The material stays on your land as ground cover.
  • Topsoil stays put. A dozer rips out roots and soil together; mulching cuts to grade and leaves the ground stable.
  • Erosion control built in. The mulch layer protects bare ground while grass and plants come back.
